Satir Categories
Developed by the famous family therapist, Virginia Satir, this model allows the practitioner the utilization of another language pattern. The categories include the blamer, placater, computer, distracter and leveller. Recognition of these models gives the practitioner added tools in pacing and understanding the speaker’s model of the world. The utilization of these patterns give broad appeal to the people in the audience when the speaker rotates through them. These categories appear in your practitioner training material for your reading.
